And baby makes THREE! | Franklin, Pennsylvania Newborn Photography

I am SOOOOO excited to share this session!!!!!  This little munchkin is so lucky to have joined a wonderful little family who lives on the most beautiful sheep farm.  I have had the honor of doing a lot of sessions for this family over the last few years.  Usually at the point in the blog post, I go on to post links to previous sessions...but the time it would take me to find all the sessions and post all the links is a little overwhelming.  So just take my word for it - there are a lot and they are all adorable.

This little beautiful girl is the third girl to join the family.  THIRD.  Three beautiful girls and all I can think is - man, this dad is in T.R.O.U.B.L.E.... HA!  And also - man, this dad is L.U.C.K.Y.

I actually just did the session a couple of weeks ago...and I know I have a bajilion of other older sessions I could (and probably should) be posting first.  But I just adored these shots SO much, I just decided, heck with it, I am going to post them right away.  I have moved away from doing posed newborn sessions and do more of a lifestyle session.  I know this sounds cliche, but these are the sessions that make my heart sing.  I love capturing, not only portraits of a beautiful newborn, but also what LIFE is like with a newborn.  And, in this case, what life is like with a newborn and two other little munchkins!  It is tiring, and chaotic, and crazy....and perfect and beautiful.

Thank you so much Joe and Leann!  It is always so much fun to spend a little time with you and your family at the farm!!

Harper is ONE! | Franklin, PA Child Photography

I met sweet Harper on one of the ONLY frigid days this winter.  She was about to turn one and mom wanted to get some pics of her and her family before the big first birthday party.  As with most munchkins on a photo session day....she didn't nap.  I don't know HOW kiddos at this age can sense that mom and dad have something planned, but they do.  And they rarely nap on those days.

But this little one was still so happy and you would never know she was missing a nap (nothing like my kids!!!).  We spent some time getting some shots in her adorable little tutu, then got some family shots until we moved into the cake smash.  The cake smash went very well...until we encouraged a little "smash of the cake" and then the tired little girl let the tears flow.

I had such a great time meeting such a sweet family - thank you Jess and Andy!

Family love! | Oil City Pennsylvania family photography

I just LOVE doing extended family sessions!  I think it is so sweet - and so important - for an entire family to get together for an opportunity to show exactly what their entire family looks like, together, at this moment.   I mean, who doesn't love to find a huge group photo from your own parents or grandparents time?

And how cool is it to sit down and go over who everyone is and how old they were - and "OMG!  Look at those glasses!  Look at that outfit!  Doesn't Bobby look exactly like Uncle Charlie did when he was young??!!" etc etc.  Those are definitely the images that will be cherished for many generations to come.

I met Emily and her family for their extended family session at beautiful Morrison Park in Seneca, PA.  It was a perfect evening - warm and beautiful with just a touch of sunshine.  And it was so fun meeting them all - from the loving matriarch and patriarch - to the adorable little and crazy grandchildren.  I just love seeing all the unique personalities of the little ones - from the little boys who have no interest whatsoever, to the little girls who love the opportunity to "flaunt their stuff!".  They are ALL just so much fun!!!

Thank you all so much! Now onto the photos!
